Early life and training

Olabode Oluwafemi was born on 22 October 1974 in Moniya, Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State, Nigeria. He grew up in Yoruba cultural life, attended Akingbele Community Primary School and Abadina College in Ibadan, and performed on stage in schools and churches. He later told Nigerian Tribune (15 September 2024) that he has loved acting since those days. He earned a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at the Federal Polytechnic Offa, a Higher National Diploma at The Polytechnic Ibadan, and a Diploma in Art and Theatre from the Ibadan School of Acting. He is now based in Dublin, Ireland. The companies and the Nigerian body of work stay in place.

He works as a producer, director, executive producer, and actor. Matins Palava (2021–2023) is a television series he directed, appeared in as Mr. Martins, and contributed visual effects to. Àyànmó is a screen production he directed and executive-produced, with Eniola Olayemi Ayodeji as producer. In 2026 he launched Amberpath (@amberpathfilms), a premium Nigerian and Yoruba short-cinema slate, and became the AI filmmaker on Hollow Woods (AI version), the AI version of a dark fantasy short-film series made in Ireland. YorubaWahala | Dublin is the Dublin screen community tied to that work. Production also continues under Martins Studio Entertainment and TLBF Film Production. In September 2024 The Nation reported him urging filmmakers to use Nollywood for national unity and cultural diplomacy.

As a recording artist, songwriter, and music producer, he works across Afrobeat, dancehall-influenced sound, and Gospel. Releases under Martins Studio Entertainment include the album Echoes of Black Fire and the single Left Behind, featuring Eniola Olayemi. Olabode Oluwafemi was born on 22 October 1974 in Moniya, Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State, Nigeria. He grew up inside Yoruba cultural life — language, story, and community performance were not background noise; they were the air he breathed.

He began formal education at Akingbele Community Primary School, then continued at Abadina College in Ibadan. From childhood he performed on stage from school to school and in churches.
