Nollywood as Cultural Diplomacy — An Industry Note

Nigerian film reaches audiences far beyond a single city or language. When stories are made with craft and honesty, they can explain a country to itself and to the world at the same time.

Olabode Oluwafemi has argued publicly that filmmakers can support national unity and cultural diplomacy — not as slogan, but as practical work: tell shared stories, show diversity without caricature, and meet international standards of production.

That position is part of his public record on this site and in independent press. Production continues through Martins Studio Entertainment and TLBF Film Production, with credits listed in the filmography.
